The NASFAA Policies & Procedures Regulatory Resources Guide, available complimentary to NASFAA members only, is a checklist to help ensure your institution's policies and procedures manual addresses all elements and areas necessary to achieve compliance with Title IV laws and regulations.
The need for policies and procedures sometimes arises directly from the law in areas that are not regulated, such as need analysis and professional judgment. In addition, sub-regulatory guidance from the U.S. Department of Education (ED) in the form of FSA Handbooks, Federal Registers, Dear Colleague/Partner Letters, policy bulletins, or Electronic Announcements may result in the need for new or revised policies and procedures. These and other publications also serve to clarify the regulations and, thus, impact the formulation of policies and procedures.
The customizable Policies & Procedures Manual Templates, as well as all supplemental tools, are currently being updated and will be available complimentary to NASFAA members in Fall 2014. Watch Today's News for an announcement!
